NOW: MEET THE ARTISTS !

Bob Watson's talent is shown beautifully in the sailboat picture above.  Please especially note his masterful capture of sky and water.

Doug Wright is shown here with his latest underwater scene.  He paints undersea creatures with realistic detail. This self taught artist has spent day after day scuba diving in our area.  He knows the names, habits and details of these creatures' appearances by heart.  Listening to Doug explain his work is worth more than a college course in marine biology.

Profiles of the Artists

Water color artist, Charles Baldwin is shown here with his work "The Old Mill" (20in. x 24in.).  Charles is self taught using as his inspiration his wife's work.  He also stated that he learned a lot from watching the art lessons on T.V.   In addition he read painting books for tips.  Charles' work is seen, among many places, in the "Habitat for Humanity" in Stuart, Florida.

Seen above is the one and only Gloria Schulz with one of her popular flower oil paintings, "Iris".  Notice the rain drops on the leaf in the picture.  She has a special secret on how to paint realistic raindrops, which she has revealed to us in a presentation at our Jan. 2005 meeting.
