Joe Holiday was born and raised in NYC area. He became a popular Jazz musician back in the 1940's. He has several albums available. (Check Amazon.com) He still paints in the popular abstract New York style.

Below is a great example of a total abstract. Joe has "no fear" of using striking colors. He paints mainly with acrylics. At times he is known to use colored inks.
